
About the Author
Eric Oliver, the principal of MetaSystems, is a specialist in implied and nonverbal communications with over 22 years of experience; and more than 15 years of working specifically with attorneys.
He both trains lawyers and helps trial attorneys prepare and present more listener-friendly cases. In litigation, he helps legal professionals build case presentation plans, integrating all the elements of communication (including lawyer performance) in response to the spoken and unspoken needs of jurors as revealed in focus groups and voir dire.
Mr. Oliver holds an MA in Human Development and a pending Ph.D. in Psychology. He has also received advanced training in Neurolinguistic Programming, indirect suggestion, and hypnosis. His work has appeared in The Trial Lawyer Journal, TRIAL, and several journals for specific areas of practice. His work has been the subject of feature articles in Lawyers Weekly USA and the American Bar Association Journal.
